What is the orange part on the 3 pt. that is on the left side. It appears to limit the movement of the lower link as far as raising it. What's its name and function?
Kubota b2920, The Right lower link is unrestricted. The left lower link has that 90 degree piece of orange metal that restricts upward and inward movement of the left lower link.

I would put the 3pt arm to the inside and use it as a spacer until I figure out what it is. It must be for some special attachment, I don't see why it would be there in the way it is installed. Where does the other end of the lower connecting rod go in the third picture?
Yeah I think it is the lift arm for the MMM. Seems like it restricts the lower link lift height some and they run into each other if you raise the 3 pt. up but maybe it is just designed this way.
My B3030 has one on each side. They are what lifts the mmm. It should not restrict the 3pth arms. If it does it may be that the linkage to the mmm is adjusted incorrectly.
Murph got it right - our B5100 had one on the left side for lifting the MMM deck. Took it off and installed a spacer so we could get the 3pt tiller to lift evenly & consistently. Kind of a klunky design on an otherwise well thought out tractor.
