Well, I decided to play it safe. Bought a slightly used NH subframe for $250. I should be able to figure out a way to mount the Liberty backhoe with it.

I think you got very lucky to find a used sub frame for your TC 30. I think you've made a good decision to mount the BH to it. Should be easy to do.

I can take pictures of my B.H. , with it off the tractor to give you ideas on how to modify your B.H. to work with your sub-frame . A Welder , some Steel Channel and some Steel Tube should make a decent frame to attach to the sub-frame .

Exactly What Did You Buy when you say " Sub - Frame " ? Going out to Shoot some pictures now of B.H. On and Then Off , But Not sure What parts you Have already ??

Found a used subframe from a new Holland dealer in Missouri called Boaktings. He told me they took a T C 30 on trade and the new buyer for some reason did not want the sub frame. Told me it runs front to back of tractor. I talked to Liberty and they said the sub frame wasn't necessary but also wouldn't hurt. He said it should be no problem mounting this to a sub frame. I don't have anything yet. The sub frame has been shipped but not the hoe.

Here are Pictures of 757 Attached and Unattached , of actual sub-frame attachment points to B.H. , Sub frame and Both the Front and Rear sub frame mounts on Tractor itself that stay on tractor even if B.H. is removed .

So based upon your last msg. , If You are getting the sub frame ( Not sure if they are also giving the front and rear mounts ) , It really would be no big deal I am thinking to attach the B.H. to the sub frame . Actually attach sub frame to tractor first , all of it , then back tractor up to unattached B.H. and start taking measurements and getting ideas on how to stick the two together .

Fred, the subframe came yesterday and I put it on today. Had to make 2 50 mile round trips to get the proper size and grade bolts but it all worked out. Your pictures were a great help for me today, Thank You again!
