I have quick attach forks for the FEL. I have read about QA adapter for 3-pt, but haven't been able to locate one. Any suggestions??

Here's something that looked like a great idea to me. Got these pics off TBN but can't remember who posted them.

Edit: Oooppss,, just thought about what you are asking and this probably isn't it....

JD markets what they call a Quick Hitch. You attach the hitch to your 3 point, and all JD implements that are Quick Hitch compatible can then be attached without messing with the lift arms and top link. The catch is that the implements all need to have their connecting points in the right locations to fit the Quick Hitch.

I don't know of any universal 3 point quick adapter, although there are some that fit the lift arms only -- Pat's being an example.

I probably wasn't as specific as I should have been. I'm looking for skid steer type QA that mates to 3-pt hitch.

The JD system works much like that. You just back your adapter up to the implement, lift, and drop two handles to lock everything in place. Some even have the locking mechanism controlled remotely.

Teach, I misunderstood at first too. What he's looking for is something that attaches to his 3pt hitch and then will accept Quick Attachments such as skid steer attachments.

Flintlock, why couldn't you buy or build a Quick Attach blank like they use to convert a normal bucket to QA bucket, and then add 3pt attach points to the bucket side of it?? I didn't explain that very well but you get the idea.

Think you are talking about being able to use your pallet fork off the three point in the rear which is what I did with the Bradco adaptor plate. ATI also makes a cat 1 model. The Bradco is cat 1/2 and very sturdy. Have used it for a 2000 lbs ballast box and firewood skid that holds about one full cord of oak wood.

Whenever this comes up it seems to be a hard one for folks to follow...guess there are a lot more people that want another method of attaching 3pt implemements to 3pth than there are who have skid steer attachments that they want to put on the 3pth.....
m7040 has your answers....there was a recent thread on "grapple counter-weight" where m7040 included pictures of his setup ...very nice.
Info on the ATI is available on page 13 of the catalog on this link: http://www.preseeder.com/PDF/Product_list_2006.pdf
good luck

Yea, that's right. I want to use skid steer QA forks on the 3-pt to use as support for carryall box til I get somethink better.

There are simple 3 point carryalls out there for less than $100. I converted my 3 point carryall to work on the QA of the loader, but it still can be used on the back of the tractor, so I basically did the reverse of what you're trying to do.

I think you will find it cheaper to just buy a carryall for the 3 point unless there are other FEL QA implements you want to put on the back, too.

I agree - this is really the best (and most cost effective) way to do it. The price of the adapter will be more than the price of the carry-all.

TSC has 3 pt dump carryall for about $350. Are there others I've not found??

the TCS carry all for 120 dollars or so are limited in what you can load on them, generally less that 500 lbs or may be a 1000 lbs. The pallet forks and three point adapter will allow you to lift up to the limits of the three point system. So if you are looking for that kind capacity then you need the adaptor plate or a much more costly carry all

M7040 - Do you mind telling us how much the Bradco adapter plate costs?

If I remember right it was about 700 dollars
