Just curious--Is it better to lower any attachment (i.e. back blade) on the 3 point when not in use? (Tractor parked and shut off) What are the pros and cons?

ALWAYS lower anything to the ground, including the FEL. Main reason is safety-A child moving a lever could cause the load to crash down, or even accidental bumping from a adult could do the same. The other reason is to not leave the pressure on the hydraulic system for no reason.

Better to lower attachments, takes the strain off the seals, less chance of tractor rolling, kids can't drop the implement on anothers foot.

That good advice includes the FEL too. :)

Thanks for the responses. I always lower mine, but I see a Dealers lot that always has the FEL down , but the three point attachments up, so I got curious.
