3-Point Hitch 3 point hitch.

I have a b7610 ,can the 3point hitch arms be locked in the up position while im mowing,without Interfering with the up and dowm operation of the mmm.

No, they are what raises and lowers the mmm. If you were able to lock them in the up position, the mower would also be locked up. What is your reason for wanting the lift arms up?

I am assuming Mick means the 2 arms connecting the hitch to the hydraulic lift arms. Most cases the arms are detachable and there are some lug locations on the rear frame where the arms can be connected to when not the 3PH is not needed. Just disconnect the pin at the top and use the same pin to attach to the lug. The hydraulic lift arms will still go up and down with the mower motion.

The reason I ask this is,i uae a carry all quite a bit and have to hook it on and off every time I mow,which is a pain!

Then you don't have much of a choice. Is the carry all light enough to be supported by the lug pins? Or would the side to side motion be enough to bend the lugs?

Actually on the B7610 the 3pt lift arms themselves are what raises the mid-mount mower (it's a ground contact deck.) They have a little bracket on them that runs linkages up to the mower deck to raise it. If the lift arms themselves don't go up, neither does the mower.

Ahhh.........! Guess I am spoiled by the BX. Only solution then is to remove the carry all Mick was referring to?
