3-point hitch

I,m fixing up an Oliver 770 wheatland tractor and at the present time doesnt have any hyd. on it. Just a draw bar. Is there anyway I can install hyd. 3-point hitch on this tractor,if so any info would be appreciated.Thanks

The answer could be yes, depending on how much agro-engineering you want to do. Central Tractor (long since bankrupt) used to sell a bolt on 3pt for farmall H's and M's. So yes you can make something, but not to sure about buying something that you can just bolt on.

With enough time and money, almost anything can be done.

If you are just looking for a tractor with a 3pt, you may be able to buy another tractor with one for what it will cost you do get one set up on the oliver.

saginow tractor works makes a bolt on 3pt hitch, hd.. for allis, old jd's, farmalls.. etc.

all you need is a hyd source.. don't have to be much mor ethan a couple gpm or much over 1500 psi to make a real good hitch.

a pto pump with extender shaft world work.. though be spendy.

I'd check into an engine pump.. etc.

heck.. for limited use, a 12v electric over hyd ready pack could be tucked under a running board and handle a low volume 3pt lift.... or adapt a PS pump.. etc.. lots of possibilities..

Go to YT MAG and post on the oliver board. Can't you put a factory hydra -electric hydraulic unit on it? You can still find these used. Why butcher? I'm not 100% sure if you can add a PT or hydra hitch to a wheatland, but the guys on ytmag.com will know, and no doubt can supply pics also. Where are you located?

You can find an Oliver Power Traction hitch or Hydra Hitch used for less than that. The PT hitch is MORE than twice as heavy as any aftermarket Oliver 3pt. Here's a pic of one of mine if it helps. It is the Power traction hitch, not the Hydra....
