What size is the 3 point hitch on a YM1601D? Is it a cat 0 or is it a cat 1?
Thanks
Frank

I would say cat 1;; all of the ym1500's I've looked at have cat 1 and ym 1600 is bigger.... CAT 1....

I am assuming it is like/similar to a ym1500.

(I am not an expert on hitches...)

It seems that stardard catagory 1 hitches have a 26" wide spacing on the bottom two points.

However, the ym1500 has a 18" spacing between the two lower points.

This is just an observation -

That raises another quesiton. What are the specs for a catagory 1 hitch?

All of the implements I use, I have built myself. (box blade, moldboard plow, ripper) I copied the hitch spacing off standard cat. 1 implements.

THEY DID NOT FIT!

I assumed that all cat. 1 hitches were standard - this apears to NOT be the case.

All cat 1 are standard; you just assumed the wrong standard. The standard is pin size......7/8" on the lift arm pins and 3/4" on the top link pins. There is a generally accepted lift arm spread of around 22"-30".....or thereabouts, as it is an informally accepted standard, not an industry standard.
