Thank you for working this out and sharing. I'm making a ballast box for my tractor, but want it to serve as a carry-all as well. Using your formulae, I was able to get dimensions that will have it level for all heights. Thanks again! You saved me a lot of work!

parrellel is simple; just the same vertical gap on both ends and the same link length.

want it to tip back? increase the gap on the implament.
