my hitch leaks down when tractor is parked after use , ,any suggestions or is this acceptable??

Some leakage is normal. How long does it take to fall? How much weight do you have on it usually? I think most of my 3-pts with just the arms on them will take a day or so to come down from the raised postion. It might be more or less, but seems to be about that.

It depends on how old the parts are.

The leak down is probably caused by worn seals on the 3pt piston.

Try this, raise the 3pt lift arms and turn the knob under seat, the descent knob, turn in to closed off.

Shut engine off, and if the lift arms descend, it is definitely worn seals.
