3/4" cutting edge for toothbar?

I have a 54" bucket on my B20. I did a search but couldn't find anyone who had built a tooth bar out of a 3/4" thick cutting edge. I know the edge is overkill but I got it for free.
My question is whether the standard teeth I've seen on Ebay etc. would work or if the cutting edge is just too thick?

thats what i used and mine was free also. however i got teeth to match the cutting edge/bucket thickness.
