2wd vs 4wd

/ 2wd vs 4wd #21
I have to agree with fasteddie. I was leaning toward 4WD but ended up going with a 2WD and am happy with the decision, thus far.

I just recently purchased an Iseki TS1910 with a FEL from EFC. I was seriously considering a YM1610D or similar 4x4 Iseki, but ended up going with the 2WD because of cost and availability.

Just last weekend we got 18" of fresh powder over night and I was able to clear 100' of driveway with no problems and very little slippage. What little slippage I did encounter was corrected with the diff. lock.

So far, I'm sold on the snow removing abilities of this little 2WD.

...my 2 cents,

Rick

I also agree with fasteddie. I bought a 2310 and have been quite happy with it. I looked at smaller 4WD but I like the larger framed tractor. I pull several loaded trailers and wouldn't be able to do as much with a smaller lighter model. I also wanted a 5' rotary cutter and needed a model 20 HP and up.
