I have purchased a 1946 2N. It needs carb work done so I looked at what it has on it. It is a Marvel TSX 751 not the usual 33, the 751 is listed for a Massey Ferguson model 32 Chrysler industrial. Does anyone on here know if there is any difference in the casting of a 33 vs 751? Can I take a rebuild kit for a 33 and put it in a 751 thus making it a 33?

Thanks David

If it uses the same gasket as many small Ms carbs, then 'probably'

May or may not have economizer, and son larger carbs use different jet setup.

Pop it open, you will immediately know.

Compair needles, etc.

Thanks soundguy, they do look the same inside. I had it apart to adjust the float & replaced the float valve with a used one I had.
I will have to look up "economizer" not sure what that is.

economizer jet ( in the top part of the carb ) MAY not have been used on a tsx33 but was on a 241 B? Not sure about other MS carbs. MS made sooo many carbs for soo many tractors. all very similar, that's why some swappings work fine, some don't.

The carb is the right carb. Its a 241b not a 751. I believe the 751 is a date code
