2815 HST Modifications

It's been a while since I've posted anything new about my tractor so I decided to take some pictures of what I've done to it so far. The first picture is the addition of a screen from and old CBand dish to the guard to help keep the radiator clean, only time will tell if it helps. Second picture is the box blade with
some extra plates welded on to help with moving dirt and snow.Third set of pictures is starting the job of adding of lights to the bar so I have a total of four forward and one facing rearward with a switch panel mounted in the dash.
The brackets for the lights came from Home Depot.

Here's a picture of the extra lights and control box I constructed for controlling the new lights and I'm adding extra emergency LED lights that will also be installed to the ROP. I'll have four emergency LED's installed to the top rear and one set on the sides of the ROP so people will see me better from rear and either side. Now I'm just waiting for the wire loom and the emergency lights to come in to finish this project before the snow gets here, already got neighbor asking about snow removal.

Added some new pictures of the final configuration and installation of the assembly, made some changes by adding more indicator lamps and new switches. Top three switches control the side and rear lights, switch for the radio, switch for the backup alarm and finally switches for the amber emergency rear and side lights.

What, no siren? Nice work, thanks for sharing, and showing what can be done.

Thought the siren would be to much, but you gave me the idea of adding a backup alarm which I can control by a switch on the box. Added some additional pictures.

Well, finally got the additional emergency lights install to the bar today. The attached pictures really don't do justice to how bright the lights look when there blinking, it's going to be hard for someone not to see me now, especially at night. Only thing left is to install an antenna and a Preco fork lift backup alarm when they get in next week and then get all the cables into wire loom.

Sergei, do you find that the wire screen in the grill guard hinders the front lights, not that you need the front lights anymore. :D Where did you mount your light switch in your dash?

Yes, I think is does cut down on the output, if it wasn't free then I might have gone with large type screen, but it does help keep thing out of the front end since it's plastic and not metal and not cheap to repair. But it's really nice to have the extra lights, it's makes it enjoyable to work even at night now.
All my switches and fuses are mount in the control box that I have attached to the ROPS on my left side. From the box I control the power to the radio, emergency lights, alarm and flood lights. Top three rocker switches are for the flood lights, middle one is the rear light and the other two outside switches each control a pair of lights. Pictures of the box are in an earlier posting.
