2810 or 3510

im looking at purchaing a new mahindra tractor. i have decided on the 10 series however not sure what size to get. basically i need the tractor for cleaning up properties i purchase for resale. also landscaping and maintaining my place. and last but not least making food plots for deer and turkey. but just how much power do you really need. however i dont want something that is to small to get the job done. tools i will purchase are tiller, FEL, blade, rear spreader & possible a disc. I live in central Wisconsin - sand country. I thank you in advance for any and all responses.

I looked at the 2810 myself, but the price difference between it and the 3510 wasn't much. I bought a 3510 with fel. I have cleared some brush with no problems.I went with AG tires, as we have black dirt here in south texas. The 3510 has a bigger loader also. I would go with the 3510, a little more power and weight.

Either one will do the jobs you are looking for. The only thing I would have a concern with is the 3510 is about enough to manuver in the woods for the food plots. I use mine in the woods all the time. It gets bigger the deeper you get. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you stuff is real thick and you are looking not to wreck as much going in and out, I would go smaller. Also if the properties you are talking about are in town lots where you are sneaking between garages and over sidewalks, the smaller machine might be a better plan.

Looking at the specs the 2810 is only about 6 in thinner, but that could make or break a vinal sideing. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
