2810 HST Dead Hydraulics?

Thanks Dave,
It's not what I'd consider, weak, just not overly strong. It's quite possible it's behaving normal. Thanks for your input.

Dave, would you happen to know the part number for the spring/ball kit?
And thanks for your post!

What would you folks consider to be "normal" leakdown? Every piece I ever run has had some leakdown, I don't know what's out of ordinary for sure.

2810HST / ML108H
Empty Bucket: Rate Of Vertical Drop approx. 1" / 15 min.
Fully loaded bucket: ROVD approx 1" / 1 min.
Empty / loaded Bucket Roll over rate about the same.
3pt light load: 1" / 5 min.
3pt max load: 1" / min.

These seem normal to me, but I'm only comparing to pieces I have experience with.

i don't have much, if any trouble with my 3pt hydraulics creeping on my 4110, but the roll on my bucket sure is awful! when i mow with the bush hog at the high rpm's, i can re-curl my bucket back up about every 15 mins. it may only be an inch or so that it drops, but wouldn't you think it should hold with the high rpm's and being empty? i would probably be a little more understanding if it were just happening when the tractor was off. should i get my loader looked at by the dealer, or is it something i just have to get used to? its not really a problem, just kinda annoying.

That's what I was going to say :D Thanks!

yeah, but did you KNOW it or have to look it up?:D I don't think I am playing fair there.

To answer some other questions, the loader will drop more when you are running your tractor. Your oil is hotter.

From what I am hearing, they all sound with in spec.

My '03 2810HST has the Sauer-Danfoss loader valve

So has mine. Did not want to go into the float position last time I used it. Have not taken time to investigate. Any thoughts?

mikeinvt,

I'll expand with a thought regarding the roll over. There's no hydraulic pressure routed to any of the loader cylinders till the loader valve is actuated. Engine running or not results will be the same except as rback33 said, hot oil in thinner than cold oil.

I should have stated my times were engine running or off for the FEL and engine off for the 3pt. Of course the 3pt will not drop while under power.

I'll try to check this weekend. On mine, it'll drop/curl a couple of inches in the time it takes to fill it with split cordwood. It just seems excessive, maybe it's within spec.

Mine will barely stay in float. It pops out fairly easily with the slightest bump. I use the float position when clearing a light powder snow on a windy day. Much preferred, over the snowblower, especially when windy. It's a little irritating when it constantly pops out. It seems like the notch should be just a little more stiff, to hold better.
