2720-2032r and 46 backhoe. How hard to install/remove?

Just as the title says. I'm in the market for a Tractor/Loader/Hoe/MMM setup. I am considering several tractors and am now after driving one, really liking the 2 series tractors. My question is how much is involved to switch from a MMM mowing setup to the 46 Backhoe and vice-versa. I know it's not as simple as the 1 series but was wondering how much hassle is involved. Thank you in advance for any help. Buying your first tractor and set-up is nerve racking for a city-slicker who's moving to the country.

The 46 BH isn't too bad after you do it a couple times. I take mine off and on several times a year and it takes me about 5 minutes to take it off and 15 to put it back on. The tricky part is aligning just right and not letting it shift sideways when you lift the BH by the stabilizers. Slow and easy during this stage is very important. Good luck with the purchase. T

A MMM sharing space on a 2720 with the 46 hoe is the Achilles heel of the 2520/2720.

46 Backhoe - mid-mount mower interference - 2520, 4115

Consider a dedicated mowing tractor instead of the MMM. The cost is close to the same.

Or, look into the 270A backhoe instead of the 46.

I'm now buying a 2032r. Unfortunately the 270 will not fit the 2720/2032r tractors!

Yes, it's a bummer. I know the 270A fits the 2320 but I could swear I saw someone on another forum who had one on a 2032r.

If you are buying the 2032, what route did you decide to go? Mower/hoe, etc.

62d mid mower with kit to lock up mower link arms when not in use
H130 loader with 61 inch bucket
655 tiller
Frontier 2067 spreader
R4s (not loaded for now)
Ballast box

Very nice! I just ordered my 2032r with filled R4s, 46 backhoe, and 655 tiller. Dealer tells me they arrived yesterday and should be delivered next week. I am trading up from a 2320.
