Thanks for your reply Smalltown. My reason for wanting to go with the 270 is just so I don't have to take my mmm brackets and 3pt hitch arms off the machine every time I want to use the hoe. Just seems like way too much work.
I bought this machine to make my life easier due to health issues. small mechanical work is not a problem, but I can't lift anything over 25 lbs, so strong arming the 46 is out of the question for me. Getting down on the ground is no problem but getting back up is, or I would have bought a 46 a long time ago. The JD video misled me into thinking all you need to do was back up to the backhoe and push in a few pins, connect the hoses and away you go. I came to find out that was far from the truth. I don't know which tractor they used for that promotion clip that I saw, but the 2720 is not it.
Guess I'll just have to wait!!
