2655 OS Seat Position

Hey all,
Looking to possibly purchase a 2655 HST OS this spring as it seems like the right size/power tractor that I am looking for. Like many others, I find that the seat sits too low and forward for me on the earlier models. My questions are: 1.) Did Mahindra possibly correct this problem on the later models? 2.) If not, has anyone here been successful in making a bracket/spacers to add under the seat to help with this problem? I would hate for just the seat position to be the deciding factor on whether or not to buy.
BTW, When speaking to my Mahindra dealer recently, he said that the new 2660 may not be available for another 6-12 months. He was told by his rep. that they want to get rid of all the stock 2655's before they release them.

Thanks!! So I’m assuming that most agree that 3” taller than stock is a good seat height?

I like the 3" risers and the material is what I had available as scrap. I've seen other people go 2" and be happy with that as well. It's all personal preference. Best thing to do is remove the seat and the brackets and set a couple wood blocks there, set the seat back in place, and sit on it to see if it works for you. Then you can figure out what height you like best and make your risers.
