Happy 4th everyone! I have a 2638 and for about a week now the check engine light started to come on after running a little while. Yesterday it came on as soon as I started the tractor. I also started hearing a hissing noise. I let her warm up, took her out to move some dirt and she bogged right down right away and almost stalled. I took her back to the house and now I'm trying to figure out what to do. Anyone recommend a code reader or have any idea what might be the issue? Thank you

When was the last time you changed the fuel filters?
I own a 2638 also,and I started hearing a hissing noise. Looked at everything but no luck. When I recently did the 500 hour service I found the problem. It was coming from the air box, one of the clamps that holds the box together had come loose. Changed filters , made sure all clamps are secure & no more hissing.
