Possible hose constrictor- Two flat bars, drilled with two bolts with nuts installed (sort of like a u-bolt)- adjust to where the engine runs warmer? Would that work?

Yes it would. Round stock or pipe would be bit easier on the hose but either of these is a bush fix that should last a few months.

Between some type of restriction and covering the radiator per the owners manual and posts above folks should be warm until Mahindra issues a TSB.

I think I'll wait till the new parts list is available and have the dealer install the new hoses.....

Hey, I'm giving you a 'quick fix' here, something you can tune-in by tightening/loosening- then you can prove what the problem is. Or just be cold. I don't care.

Oky doaky... had mine out blowing snow today, about 20 degrees outside. Temp gauge went up to 1/4 like your picture when I was warming it up, soon as I started working went up to just below 1/2 way and stopped, probably thermostat set point. When I got done, and was idling cleaning up before returning it to barn, it went back down to 1/4... good 'nuf fer me... [ note, I have a 12" holed sheet of plastic installed front of the radiator ] Tried to catch a picture with the super bright orange LED emergency flashers lite up, but couldn't do it.......

I have a flip phone of my own and I don't even need that as I don't use cell phones anymore. I'm just not important enough to need to be in constant communication with the world or maybe they just aren't important enough for me. LOL
