2538 suspension seat

Just finished installing a Milsco V5200 seat from Northern Tool. Remove 2 bolts that hold factory seat to hinge bracket. Make hole on left side into a slot with your grinder. New seat is heavy but it will now bolt onto factory hinge bracket. Seat is now about 3” higher which is perfect for me. Shame on Mahindra for not making this standard on all tractors.
The last picture is a bracket I made to control raising & lowering heights of implants on rear. Again, shame on Mahindra for not making position controls standard.

That's a nice seat! I just some new shoes for my 4540 2WD! Mahindra told me it would be 600 to get some 9.5x16.5 so I got 10x16.5 for less and drives like a tank now! They are actually skid steer wheels! This 2WD looks tough now!

Thanx for the post. I've been looking for one for my 2538, but most don't fit as well as yours.
I'm going to look into getting one for me.

Just finished moving and leveling 20 yards of dirt, cutting up/picking up and pilling trees from storms. About 15 hours of seat time. That new seat saved my back & butt. Money well spent.
