2538 loader valve thread size

Quick question please. Does anyone know the thread and hose size for the power beyond on the loader valve for a 2538? I was going over my 3rd function order about to send it in when I noticed the hose from the power beyond looked bigger than the 1/2" I assumed it was. Looked in the the loader manual and the elbow is listed as a "PT1/2", if I google than it comes up as a bspt thread and not an npt thread.

I did, I used a 1/2" npt and it threaded right onto it just had to put a little teflon tape to get it to seal off. I have another thread you may want to read if you are going to build your own 3rd function setup. So far mine has worked without a problem.

Is that a Besko valve? That's what's on my 2540. If so, it actually uses NP straight fittings, which seal with tapers on the end or inside the end of the pipe, but not with the tapered pipe section. However, an NPT male fitting can seal against the NPS female if the inside of the end of the NPT male fitting is properly chamfered. I just put on my valve, with no teflon tape (which I won't use with hydraulics; I use teflon "pipe dope" instead for actual tapered fittings) and have zero leakage.
