Oil & Fuel 2523 fuel usage

Trying to figure out if the 2.25 gallon fuel tank the tractor comes with is big enough for a days work or how many times do you refil for mowing and tilling and general work in one day on 1 acre?

The 2500 series are good machines but thats a small tank....
You probably will have enough to mow a full acre...
The tanks visable guage is the only way to tell how well you are doing..

I mow aprox. 2-1/2+acres and use a 2/3 of a tank with my 2523.

Based on that i think I get worse /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif mpg (mow's per gallon )


I have a 3204 (4.5 gal) with the same acreage. I'm at half or a little under. The weight and shaft attachment makes a difference I'm sure. The motor being the same (Kohler)

I have a 3235 with the 4.5 gallon tank and 25hp Kohler engine. I mow 1 acre and can mow it twice without running out of gas.
