Anyone ever have theirs quit? Started mine tonight and no tach.

I pulled the dash and the cable walks itself into the tach until it disengages. If I hold the cable with pressure it spins. Bad cable I'm betting.

Sounds like you found it! Judging that it's a 2011 tractor it must be under waranty.

Not even a month old. I'll have to call tomorrow. If nothing else I'll fix it if they have the part.

What happened with your tach not working? What did you need to replace? My 2520 (2011 with 60 hours) just had its tach quit tonight. Under warranty for sure but wondering what's involved as getting the tractor to the dealer is a big deal for me.

Mine was the tach cable broke. Disconnected the cable from the tach and it didn't move when the engine was running. Cable would be easy to replace.

My 2520 tach & hour meter both went belly up... Are they both mechanically driven by the same cable?

Thanks!
