Okay, I bet this has never been posted. I fiddle around with Jetskis every once in a while. I have a shop crane and a special ski strap that grabs the skis on the side edges to lift them off the trailer to put on a repair cart.

I wonder how difficult it would be to fabricate a frame to use the FEL of my future 2520 to lift the ski off the trailer? A typical 3-seater ski weighs in at 700lbs. I'd love to pick it up lengthwise (with forks perhaps) but with the loader arm length I may only be able to pick them up from the side. If I use forks I would certainly need my ballast box. Any thoughts?

Weight shouldn't be a problem......

Not a Problem at all. it would not Phase it.
I would bet money i could lift 2 of them. that would only
be 1400 pounds. i lifted alot more than that....;)

DITO, I moved 1200# of concrete mix a few weeks ago and still had lift to spare.

On a couple of occasions I've used my 300CX to lift motorcycles and either move them or work on them. Thought about making something up to that end also, but the fork blades and some chain or tow web do the job with no additional cost. If it were business related (eg doing it all the time) I might consider the permanent solution. Heck just covering a set of long fork tines with I/O carpet might do the job just fine!
