Dont fool with them. there plenty brite enough.
Dont make your tractor look silly . Get the tractor first. then worry about
changeing the light bulbs....
if you want more light just add the Aux lights from JD on the front
and the back. then you can light up the world.

How about some spinner rims, low profile tires, L.E.D. under-tractor lighting and a new muffler to make it sound like a buzz saw?

Ah, the tables turn. On a Saturn owners' forum site I frequent, a much-discussed "mod" is HIR (NOT HID) headlight bulbs. Unlike those fake HIDs, these bulbs really are brighter. And unlike _true_ HIDs, which require significant electrical mods, they plug right in (with a minor trim to the connector) to a typical car's 9006 headlight connector, and fit the 9006 housing socket.

Guess what's a favorite source of these lights? John Deere part # AH211917 . Supposedly used on some old 8000 series tractor. jdparts.deere.com still lists the number, but draws a blank when you follow "where used".

Now I wanna put one of those absurd park-bench-shaped spoilers on the back of my KK brush hog....
