Good morning!

I just purchased a Walco 5.5 HD boxblade for the 2520. However the 2520 3pth doesn't seem to lower enough to allow the blades to engage the ground? The tines have to be fully dropped down in order to engage the ground. They do a great job ripping up the driveway but without the blades being able to touch it looks more like you are preparing to plant crops than smooth out the driveway!!to take it off the machine I need to place 2" block under the BB to get the pressure off. I have PEC on the links but it appears to be right in line with the stock holes. I have a Walco 6" RB and it works great . Also the draft links which would normally hook to the mowing deck drag through the ground allowing for 2 extra rows to plant seeds in?? Has anyone elso had this problem or found a solution?? I like the independant lift for the last reason but had to remove it for the 46bh.

Other than this it has been a solid performer!

Thanks!

Can you post a picture? It sounds like a setup/adjustment problem.

Set up problem....absolutley!! 3 pth draft links were pinned in the holes closest to the ends. Changed them to the inner holes and the box blade works just awesome !! Thanks for the advice. I took a real good look at the "set up" last night and found the holes in the draft links!!

cheers
