Snow 2500 Snow Blade Help

Hey guys, need a little help. I have a 2005 Gt 2550. I found a lightly used snow blower that came off of a 2160 for sale. I think frame is the same and it should fit my 2550. I called my Cub dealer and he said the blower (part# 190-303) has had a couple of model number changes and could not say for sure if it would fit my 2550. Current part # for snowblower for a 2550 on the Cub website shows part #190-341. He recommended I measure frame and blade and see if they match. Problem is blade is 4+ hours away and I don't know what to measure anyway. I can't find any way to cross-reference the blade to see if it will fit. Wouldn't you think the dealer could x-reference the part#'s? Anybody have any idea if this blower will work? Thanks in advance for any help.

The blade that I used on my old 2160 fits my 2518 with no problems. I also have the snowblower model 190-303 from my 2160 that fits the 2518 also. If you're looking for a snowblower look for the model 190-341 as this is an updated version of the 303. The 341 uses a shaft drive to run the blower vs the 303 using belts. I don't use my 303 much anymore as it tends to "eats up" the belt very quickly. That's why CC changed to shaft drive. Hope this helps.

The shaft is part of the snowthrower attachment, the hook up is belt. So you run a belt as you would a deck attachment, but up front, the shaft turns the impeller and auger. There used to be a belt up front that just was a bad design and used to break often. The shaft is a much better design and my dealer tells me it works great.
