Sorry guys, I had a little typo. I meant that the steel was 2.5"x1/2"x19". I think the ball ends add a couple of inches each to the length as measured ball center to ball center. Also, the ball ends are made for 5/8" thick steel, so for larger tractors, 5/8" would be my choice.

Still trying to find a 24" scoop her in Southeast Virginia. Northern want $75 to ship and Howse want $100 to ship. AG supply in VA doesnt carry them anymore. Anyone know where i can get one w/o paying the high shipping cost?

I see there is a Tractor Supply Co. store in Charlottesville, about 100 miles up I-64 from you. You might call them at 434-984-2190 and see if they have a 24" in stock. They carry King Cutter. If you have a SUV, van, or pick up, you could drive up and get it. You might also find out if there is a TSC nearer to you. Va. is crawling with them, about a dozen.
