Mowing 2350 cutting height control dial

I just got a used BX 2350. It only had 10 hours on and in pristine condition. I turned the cutting height dial to top and now it wont move. Not sure if there is something I should be doing to allow it to move. Motor on...revs up but wont move. Is there a lock Im missing? thanks

Rev the motor slightly. Raise the deck as far as possible with the 3 point hitch control lever. Then the knob should turn. If that doesn't work, try lifting on the deck while trying to turn the knob.

I assume the 50 seriers uses the same type of stepped cam that the 30 series uses but I don't know that for a fact. If the mower is resting on the cam, I doubt you'll be able to turn it. Try lifting it as others suggested.

Tried what everyone suggested and no luck. Going to dealer Monday and see what they have to say. Thanks for everyone's help
