BX 2680 mower height control knob.

I can't get the height control knob to the top position so it wont lower the mower. It used to work fine when I got it but now forget it. Had to use the land plane with the mower down.

Wondering if others are having this issue.

I have had that issue. There are adjustments that can be made. At times mine only seems to work in one direction, a minor annoyance. BUT, check the lift arms on your three point. I had to keep readjusting my control arm and then discovered that one of the arms was cracked and slowly sagging. Not too bad to replace. I leave my deck on most of the time and I realized that a 200 pound deck bouncing on that arm will over time reveal weaknesses.

The adjustment is behind the left rear wheel, i just had to do it to my 2680 when I added the deck. There's lots of videos and info on it if you do a search, the earlier BX mowers are the same also.
