2320 no start

I am looking for some help in troubleshooting my problem. A couple of weeks ago I parked the tractor in the barn and everything seemed fine. A few days later I went to start it and the battery was completely dead. There was no warning and the tractor is only 2 years old. So I put on my starter/charger and let it go for a few hours. Tried to start it, cranks but does not fire. Before this it fired almost instantly everytime. I am new to diesel tractors and need a little help on where to start. Any ideas?

I'd still suspect a bad tractor battery. I would get out the jumper cables, connect to your vehicle battery and try again.

Yep - i agree on the battery.. Mine was 4 yrs old when it went. it started up and I mowed the yard then shut it down for a few minutes and it wouldnt start back up..

BTW - I ended up with a AutoZone battery - it was $110-ish with a 8 yr warranty - The dealer battery was $80 with a 1 yr warranty.. I had to measure the battery to get the same size and had to configure a hold down strap for it.. The OEM battery had tabs at the bottom to hold the battery in place..

To close this out you guys were right. I put in a new battery $129 from my local dealer and it started right up. Thanks for all the help!!
