Hi Guys,

New tractor owner (2 months). Been reading these boards for over 6 months. I have a 2320 with the CX200 FEL. Everything has been fine for the last 2 months. I took off the FEL for the first time the other night (to put on the snowblower). The FEL came off rather easily. After done with the snowblower I went to put the FEL back on and it went back on rather easily...everything matched up, locked in place, etc. Then I went to drive away and noticed the the front tires are rubbing on the bar that is used as the stand when the FEL is off. Doesn't happen when straight, but I start to make a moderate turn and the tires start to rub. This is not a super sharp turn, but more like a normal turn. This was NOT like this for the first 2 months. I could make the sharpest turns before without any rubbing...Now I can barely drive the tractor without rubbing the tires. I have taken the FEL on and off a few times and this has not help. Nothing looks out of place. :(

Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it? I had a buddy look at it that had a 2320 and he couldn't figure it out. I called the dealer today and they said they don't know and would have to have me bring it in. (I live about 45 minutes away and don't have easy access to a trailer)

Thanks for all the help!!

BILL

Yes pics would be great. I am thinking though the only thing that would cause the rubbing would be you bent the pipe when you took it off or put it back on, or its not fully latched where it needs to be.

there wasn't extra front mount bracketry added for snow blower that is quick detach and needs to come off for FEL I hope. Only link in story that made me perk up was you added front mount equipment then put loader back on.... something could be in way of that tube..... like front end weights (big ones) would block the stand tube....

this didn't make sense on second read - I meant you added equipment, took it off, then put loader back on. I remember some quick attach bracketry on front of an old tractor I had that one pin would take off so other items could go in that spot. Otherwise in the way.

I am also thinking along the lines of jrutherford. I have the same setup as you Bill. I haven't put the blower on yet, soon though:(. I know I took off ALL brackets associated with the blower this spring and haven't had any trouble. Also do you have R4's or turfs, I have turfs.

Welcome. I went out to look at my 2320 to see how much clearance I have. When fully installed the down tubes for my stand are about 2.5 inches in from the tires. They are also quite a bit above the tires. That adds up to the horizontal tube in front is about 3/4 inch below the front weight bracket (no weights). I agree with jrutherford that the first thing to check for would be snow blower quick attach parts that stay attached to the tactor after initial installation.

Have you tried taking off the FEL and putting it back on again?

Good luck and keep us posted. Oh, I have R4s on

When I had my 2320, I made the mistake of putting the loader back on while the front blade bracket was mounted. This bent the loader stand down and my front wheels rubbed in turns when the loader was mounted. After removing the loader, removing the blade bracket, and reinstalling the loader - I fixed it by hooking one end of a come-along around the bottom center of the stand and the other end to my hook that was welded on the loader bucket. With the bucket tilted fully forward, I cinched up the come-along snug then I gently used the bucket hydraulics to coax the stand back in place (bending it back). Worked fine after that. Just be careful and go very slowly.
