2305 WONT CHARGE BATTERY BLOWS BULBS

Have a new and old rectifier/ regulator. All connections are good. Puts out 33 volts DC! Generator puts out 22volts AC. Continuity checked every wire great grounds. HELP!!!

It sounds like your rectifier is to fault. More than likely one or more of the diodes are bad.

the internal regulator diodes or the other ones on the wiring diagram? How many AC volts should the alternator put out?

The regulator regulates DC voltage once it is rectified from AC to DC. It looks like the 2305 has a 2 leg stator and a combo regulator/rectifier. This thread has wire diagram:

This person had 49ACV coming out of the stator which sounds ok. Unrectified high voltage will cook anything that is turned on...like bulbs. Many people have problems with cheap replacement regulator/rectifiers too.
