It appears that you can't operate a chipper with a 2305 because there is no override for the seat saftey switch which turns off the PTO if you're not on the seat.

Do folks use the "Big Brick in the seat" method, or is there an easier way to deal with this issue. Anyone installed a switch that circumvents the seat safety if it's switched on?

I jumpered the 2 pairs of wires on my 4010 to allow the under seat button to be used. However, most of the time, I just tie a tension cord from one side of the ROPS across the front of the seat back to the other side of the ROPS. This way, I can raise the chipper/shredder and go to another bunch of brush without having to shut the PTO off.

This tension cord is used to hold the PTO shaft up and out of the way on the chipper/shredder when it is stored. So, it's readily available when I hook up the machine to the PTO.
