2305 fel

i am getting ready to make the purchase have narrowed down to the jd 2305, i still think about the massey on occasion...if i get the 2305 or the massey 2300 it will be with a mmm and the rear blade...does anyone use their fel loader for snow removal...i have a 500 ft. gravel driveway, would the fel work or should i stick with the rear blade for this?

Get the rear blade to help with snow removal. It's much quicker to clear your drive with the rear blade than the FEL. You can use the FEL to move and organize the snow piles. I've got a couple of pics in my tractor link below that shows my setup for snow.

I have two gravel drives that I do and two large parking pads. The drives are 350' and 300'. I use the loader and rear blade. While slower than using a snow plow blade it works great. I also live on a 1/2 mile long private road and there were 2 of us that had tractors and we kept the road clear also. This year a neighbor bought a 4110 just after I got mine so there will be 3 of us this year. Dang going to loose some tractor time now....
