I am building a cab for my 07 2305 and would like to add a heater. I have a curtis tuck away heater but none of the tractor side components. I am trying to avoid buying the curtis/john deere sensor adapter. Has anyone done a hookup on this tractor without using the adapter? If so can you provide details and maybe a pic?

Not sure if the 2305 3TNV76 is the same but on my 2210 with the 3TNE74 but it has the same plug in the thermostat housing on the left side of the engine so you could move the water temp sensor to the left side and get an adapter to put a barb fitting on the right side for the heater supply line.

You could also take the plug from the left side and drill it and braze a barb to it if you cannot adapt the thread. Not sure what thread type Yanmar uses but it's a strait thread compared to a Kubota that uses NPT.

Also if you use the fitting that the cab mfr's provide and install a shutoff valve on the heater hose you will lose the water temp sensor as there will be no flow past the sensor.

The return should be a bit easier as you can cut the lower radiator hose and make a piece of pipe with a barb brazed to it.
