230 vs 235 steering problems

I've heard of the steering problems that the 235 has, but does anyone know if the 230 has the same type of steering and problems. Also any help would be appreciated as to a fair price to pay for a 230 diesel with 1300 hours that seems to be in very good condition except paint is faded. Thanks!
