Hey guys I really need some help here. I have a 2290 case tractor that has a dead hydraulic system. I have split tractor and checked torque limiter which showed very little wear, checked specs on belview spring which checked out fine. So went on to the pumps. Hydraulic pump showed wear so replaced it, charge pump looked good, but went ahead and put new o ring and new outer seals on it. All shafts turned and no sheared keys, put all back together and still nothing. Come to find out I'm not getting oil to filter housing and I'm told that is the charge pumps purpose. Case dealership has no clue what to do and another mechanic says there is an internal crack in rearend housing. Hoping to find someone out there who may have experienced this. Thanks

I can't help you but you might ask over on YesterdaysTractors in the Case forum. There's a few very sharp guys there that might help you out.
