2210 loader question

Hi Everyone,

When I use the "joystick" to dump the bucket (pushing to right side) I hear a crackling sound coming from the hoses, (I'm wondering if that is air in the line) is this normal? The bucket is slow to react sometimes, however it dumps the load.

Never noticed a crackling noise, but the loader dump cycle isn't the fastest out there.

The 200cx on the 2210 would never be accused of dumping too fast. The hydraulics and "cycle time" in general just can't keep up with the work you want to do sometimes, but the DUMP is what really kills you. I think a slow dump is about par for the course, and again just a flat out limitation of 5 gpm.

The crackling sound though is news to the forum...I haven't read that before. If you're sure of the sound, I'd be concerned.

There's a good thread here on the 200CX slow dump 'feature'. JD has a fix for it that several members have implemented with good reviews. Search for '200CX FEL' and you should find it (I couldn't find it looking through a couple of pages). I'll be calling my dealer this week to get a hold of that fix. When dumping loads (esp heavy loads), mine goes WAY too slow to be happy with. The crackling sound you're hearing may well be a result of the slow dumping. The thread I can't find explains how it all works, so I'll not embarass myself trying to...
