2210 deck height knob

I need advice on how to remove the mower deck height adjustment knob. The manual does not say whether it pulls off or screws off. It is plastic and I don't want to break it. This is a 2210 and the knob is in the middle on the floor, it has to be removed to take the body off. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply JD Fanatic, but that is not the knob I am talking about. I am talking about the one on the floor that adjust the mowing height.

Yes that is it. It looks like the knob pulls straight up and off. Is that in the tech. manual? Thanks JD Fanatic

You'll have to log on, but then just key in the tractor model you are looking for and you can get to the parts lists and schematics.
