.22 Ammunitiion is slowly becomming more available

Cheapest I've been able to buy 22LR on line is .05 per round + shipping

Wikiarms.com sends me emails of who is selling for .05 per round.. Again, I'm not buying anymore .. I think I have plenty for now

The trouble with one box limits + shipping cost is 5 cents a round turns into 12 cents a round real quick. Not bad if you're squirrel hunting, as in 12 cents a squirrel is still pretty cheap. But if you're squeezing of a hundred its 12 bucks as compared to 5 bucks....

When you think about it, 12 bucks is still cheap entertainment. Its just not as cheap as it used to be.

when I was buying , I think it 22 LR was 08-.10 per round shipped... My son in on a college fishing team.. Each time he enters a tournament, he gets gift cards from Cabelas .. We don't have a local store, so, I order 22 LR with the gift cards..

I don't buy less than 300 round boxes online

Cheap Remington loads (500 rounds bulk pack) available around here for $27. Bricks of the better CCI (10 boxes of 50) go for $45 (the days of the $10 bricks are gone). I am ashamed to admit that I am starting to "hoard" somewhat. I was down to a few hundred rounds with little chance of acquiring any more so now when I see it I buy a few hundred rounds and put them away.

Can't tell from the photo, but how many rounds are those boxes? Looks like 7.29 each for 100 rounds. I bought a couple of those boxes at Cabala's in Reno a couple months back. Walmart has been getting some stock in too, but the lurkers are snapping it up at 7AM whenever it shows up.

Those are 50 rnd boxes that you see there.
I had to go back yesterday to exchange the shirt that I had bought the day before. I bought another 50 rnd box of CCI and noticed about 50,000 rounds of Winchester 1300fps copper 40 grn. in 100 round packaging, priced at 9.97 per box .10$ a shot.
The 1 box limit is working here, and since it's a Bass pro shopps, you don't have people picking up a box when they come in for groceries.

Local gun shop gets winchester in from time to time. 333rd box for $20 OTD

Was at swappers day yesterday (what a joke that place has become). 10 cents was the norm.

SAme 333rd boxes of winchester were $35
500rd thunderbolts $50 (those are the best shooting in my squirrel gun)
CCI 555 boxes for $55

etc, etc.

Dont know if any were selling. Didnt stick around long. Just a quick walk through to see that the prices were ridiculous like the past few years, let the kids see the wild animals, and watch the coon dog races, then got outta dodge and went yard sale'ing
