You made me go look! I've stated previously that I use 12% Permethrin 35% on my work pants, thinking that it was totally safe at that concentration. That works out to about 4% Permethrin spray.The permethrin you spray on your clothes only lasts through about 4 or 5 washes. It's the factory treated stuff that lasts through about 70 washes.
Also, when spraying on your clothing, You want to use a 0.5% spray specifically designated for spraying on clothing. A 12% concentration is not appropriate for this use.
Another conflicting point, I've also read the Permetrin will last up to 75 washes for my pants. I didn't believe that then, nor do I now. Your number of 4 or 5 washes seems to be much more realistic.
