First off I want to say that I found quite a bit of information on the issue but noting that panes out
So I’m helping my BIl parents with there 2555 after spending roughly 4K for the dealership to fix nothing
Little bit of background. They us the tractor mainly to load out hay. 4 years ago they installed a 12v fuel pump to help starting/ replaced 2 years ago. He was being the tractor to fuel up and well that was it for over a year. It set where I picked it up.
So in the last couple weeks I figure out the CP3 failed and thus trashed the starter.
So installed a new cp3, new starter and removed the 12v pump. Checked all the fuses, relays and installed new battery terminals. Also cleaned and put dielectric grease on the dash bulkhead harness
Tractor will run with starting fluid but the injectors don’t have any power to them. CP3 has power but I don’t have any documentation to see what is needed to get power to the injectors.
Side note they also have an issue where they pto doesn’t work even though the switch lights up
Any help would really be amazing as I don’t want to throw a $2k cpu at it if it’s just a sensor.
