All the post are pressure treated 6x8x18. The ones for the awning are 6x6 cut to the length I needed.

Eddie it's looking real good, and it's raining now and has been most of the day. I'm really excited. Hope it keeps on raining every week or two until it's time to cut.

Yes, they are rail road ties.

We've been getting some rain off and on for the last week. Before rain fields were about 8 to 10 inches of bermuda growth. Got my fertilizer on fields about a week before so as long as we don't get washed out like last year I "might" get my first cutting sometime in mid May. That will be a first.

I hope it works out good for you RPW. We have had some rain but it continues to be on the cold side. Be nice to get in the 80s with some rain.

Thanks. It'll be touch and go as we're in our "wet" time. Spring rains can be unpredictable.

You're oats are looking good cat fever! In my neck of the woods; people are already putting up their first baleage rounds. I've seen some small squares too. Looks like the guys that don't irrigate will get at least three cuttings this year. Much better than last year!
