Please send some of that my way - we are very dry right now.

Well with any luck you should see something from this storm. Rained all day here and more forcast for Friday. Are you in northern or southern Colorado?

I took these pictures today. Some rain and 50 sunny degrees really helped!

I sure do enjoy seeing our pictures. Just an amazing view that you have there. The only thing that would make it better is if you had deer and elk running around in your pasture!!!!

Sorry to see the snow, hopefully its gone quickly.

Thanks Eddie,
We do get deer at times. I have not seen an elk, although there are some huge bulls in those mountains behind me.

Yeah you do have a picture perfect view. Maybe few more tree for this texas boy but I do curse when have to rake the leaves from everywhere at my place they get in now..
As for baling me this year not going to be so much, moving and letting my lease places go and my new place well probably won't bale anything this year, getting rid most my cows and slowing down. Wife cousin lives few miles down the road probably going to ask me bale there little 5acres but that won't take me long run threw, keep my equipment from being idle for year I guess.

Thanks Foreman
I have tried planting several trees over the years but the pocket gopher's and loose cows always get the best of them.:banghead:
I have been trapping the gopher's for 1 1/2 years. (cat really enjoys an easy meal) Maybe I can get a tree to grow now. :)
I'm hoping I can get 250-300 small square bales this year. It'll be the best I've ever done if it happens.

It's been dry here for the last two weeks. Finally today it rained with more expected the next two days. My field is looking good and the water will keep it that way. How are the rest of you doing this year?

This is how the field looked yesterday.
I ordered a 6 wheel Befco V rake a few days ago. It would be nice if the field came in thick enough that I wouldn't need to use it. But I'm looking forward to getting it.

Even though it has been cool (30 to mid 50 degrees) I was in the field Monday and noticed some green shoots coming up. Very excited to say the least. We have been getting enough rain/snow mix to keep the ground moist. Hopefully it will warm up in the next couple weeks and the field will just take off I think.:) Maybe I should say I hope.
