2015 John Deere 5075

Thats exactly what I had to do. The tractor simply went into neutral for some reason. Dealership here said "check" for a disconnected wire under the tractor and check fuses". I have done these things. Fuses are good and didn't see any broken wires.
maybe foot pedal linkage is loose??

^^^ Along this same line of thinking, are there potentiometers in use for the travel pedal(s)? Computers MUST be able to talk to sensors and if something ain't right they get scared and bury their heads (refuse to do anything out of fear of allowing operation with undetectable inputs- pretty much as any new car/truck works).

Have you tried resetting the computer? Disconnect the battery, turn on the lights to drain the residual power for 5 minutes, and then reconnect the battery. This sometimes works and is what the dealers will do first.

anybody ever chk the trans fluid?? maybe when its low , it shuts down??
T-

Trans fluid ok. Wire pulled loose under the cab, which shorted a 10amp fuse. So, it was an easy fix for the Somerville, Tennessee JD service tech.

Thanks for closing this out with report of the problem and the fix. Good to hear the Bandit60 is back in business.

John Deere 5075 maybe 425 hours broke down in the field on Saturday. Display said NEUTRAL. Transmission disengaged. Walked back to barn. Any ideas ?
I have a jd5603 that shut down in the field and would not restart. Checked all the obvious electricals and found nothing. Finally called jd service tech who found a faulty temp control sensor. Apparently it sensed the engine was overheating and shut itself down. Replaced the sense and all was well.

On most models when that temp sensor on the thermostat housing fails it blows a 20 amp ignition fuse.
