I paid off my Mahindra 2015 (Gear) earlier this year. I used the 4 year 0% finance which I thought was a good deal.
So my review is as follows:
190 hours of use.
I've changed the oil and filter at every 50 hours
1 Air filter
1 Hydraulic filter
1 Fuel Filter
1 lost front axle fill plug
10 lost retaining rings for the 3 point (They get snagged on brush I guess)
200 gallons of diesel maybe.
I use the tractor to mainly mow and maintain my property. I have a 60" King Kutter rear mount mower that does a good job that I bought new 4 years ago. I have replaced 1 belt. I also have a 48" Brush Cutter (Country line) that the tractors handles just fine.
I have a 6' 3 Point blade, a 5' Box Blade, Potato Plow, Cultivator, Disk, Harrow, and a 6' Rock Rake. My last purchase was a 48" Tiller
The tractor has done everything I could have asked of it and more. I am constantly amazed at what it does, either clearing brush and trees or 24" deep snow. The loader is very strong and I have picked up stuff that I probably shouldn't have.
I chose gear drive as with my Hydro experience on mowers, you loose a lot of power. Plus I think the Gear drive would be longer lasting, however the Hydro models might be just as reliable.
Things I need to change, or like to be changed:
Live PTO would be nice.
Rear Wheel Weights as it gets light with a loader load. Maybe other brand models fit but I have not located any. I thought about fluid but have not done it.
Seat could be more comfortable.
Battery mount seems to corrode easily. I have treated it but it will be gone in a year or so. I can't find a leak on the battery
Brake Lock dummy light, I have left my brakes on a few times.
Loader color is fading fast. I store it in a shed but it is still fading.
To add I now use the tractor "For Hire" around town doing odd jobs. I have a business license and insurance for it. Till gardens, do loader work, clear snow and such probably has paid for 1/2 of the purchase price so far.
I intend to keep this little guy around even though I have much bigger tractors, it is still my main "go to" machine
