I have an opportunity to purchase a low hour 2014 5055e cab tractor. The issue is it has been sitting for over a year and the wiring harness has been chewed by mice and the owner was able to get a guy to get it to start but no other functions. A local Jd store came out and said it was the wiring harness and the repair would be $6500 this was in 2024. I was just looking to see if there is anything else I should look for as it has sat for over a year. Also is that $6500 repair reasonable? Thanks!

Been there with a 5075E, open station. Instead of a completely new harness, I just splice the chewed wires back together. Used good shrink wrap connections. Didn’t even need a wiring diagram, just payed close attention to wire colors.
