2014 3038G mystery plug

Hello fellow LS owners!

I was doing some repairs on my tractor today and noticed a little yellow plug beside my battery on the positive side. It appears the plug wires go into the main wiring harness. I figure it was worth a shot to post it on here to try to figure out what this is for.

Several models use the same wiring harness which have the plugs and wiring for the features that are standard on the premium tractors of the same base model. It could be for the wiring harness for additional dash gauges and switches, horn, etc...Take a look at the parts manual for your model and it should be identified. This may allow you to add features later on.

Makes sense , you are correct I did some more digging on this and it looks to be for a horn.

As LS makes New Hollands, you can cross reference the parts using the same LS part number but with a "M" in front of it. I have found NH parts to be easier to find in some cases. I will probably add some features to my XG3037 and will research both LS and NH parts....same part made by same manufacturer.
